While there is shelf wear and bumped corners present, this book very solid. Pages are tanned with age and because of some items laid in have some minor discoloration to some pages. But the items laid in are a treat! First there is an article entitled "A Year of Hypnotism" from the May 24, 1896 edition of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Second there is a program ("Programme") of the "Semi Annual Meeting to be held in Easton, Maryland, on November 15th and 16th, 1892" put on by the Medial and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland. Finally there is an envelope with an advertisement for another book on hypnotism, and an order form to purchase it for $3.00). Blue boards with illustration on front and titles in gold on front and spine.
